My Project
I teach an inclusive classroom of 20 kindergarten students in South Carolina. The goals of this project are to give every student in my classroom the access to engaging interactive phonics instruction during our whole group literacy block.
These word work tools will give my little learners the confidence in word building and inspire initiative in classroom participation, engagement, and collaboration.
The word work magnetic letter boards included in this project offer my students multi-sensory, developmentally appropriate tools to access phonics instruction in letter and sound fluency and word building. The ability to offer each student tools to engage in phonics lessons is greatly impactful to their learning and understanding of new skills.
