Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These warm and cozy items will make our students comfortable this winter while they attend school and read books that are culturally relevant to them.

Every morning when our students walk into school our staff welcomes them with warm smiles, by name, and with high fives.

We have noticed that some students' hands are cold and they are not wearing warm enough clothes to keep them comfortable.

Our students are vibrant students who are eager to learn every day! They are fortunate enough to attend a school where the staff looks just like them. They have awesome role models who are dedicated to making sure every student feels seen, appreciated, and is encouraged to achieve their dreams.
