Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are all minorities from low socioeconomic, single parent homes. They have low self-esteem, poor attendance, and most of them struggle academically. These boards, markers and other vision board materials will help give them a clear direction for where they want to go in several areas of their life.

My club Women of Tomorrow is designed to mentor these young ladies, introduce them to interesting careers, lean form women who have overcome obstacles, learn how to handle life struggles, go on field trips to local businesses and colleges, imagine their dream jobs while creating vision boards with the mentors and learning the skills needed to succeed in life.

Ms. Hughes Homestead Senior High School Grades 9-12

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus

At this school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households. Learn how your donation to this school supports a more equitable education.
