Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing. They are highly motivated and they come in every day with a smile on their faces, ready to learn regardless of the hardships they may face at home. Our Title 1 school is a tight-knit family and our classroom is no exception.

My Project

This project will give me the opportunity to give my students a fun and engaging flexible seating option while we are working on our reading skills.

These wobble stools will help my students stay focused and allow them to get out the wiggles an jiggles that interrupt and distract our reading blocks.

Fourth grade is an essential year for building our reading skills and minutes cannot be wasted on redirecting when a wobble stool is the simple fix! With these stools, my energetic learners will have a way to get out the jiggles while still learning their reading skills that will make them successful throughout their elementary years and beyond.
