My Project

I am a first year teacher teaching science at a low income, rural high school. My students struggle to maintain focus and stay in their seat. During labs it is important to stay focused and closely observe the projects we do. Staying in their seats during labs is important to lab safety.

Students who have trouble focusing can use these stools to stay focused on the lesson or labs during the week.

My goals for this project are to allow seating to students who struggle to focus and stay in their seats. This will help with my students mental health by allowing them to feel like they have choices.

I also requested for a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help with finding lessons that will help my students become more involved in the activities for the week.
