My Project

I teach a self-contained special education class that includes fourth, fifth, and sixth-graders. My students are a kind and caring bunch who attend their local community school but need a little extra academic and social/emotional support due to disabilities such as dyslexia, autism, and ADHD.

Wobble stools are my students' preferred way to sit and learn because they allow students to move around while doing their work or participating in discussions.

My students use these all day long to help them focus on their work, let off some extra energy, and make it easier to collaborate with their friends in small groups. I am requesting four wobble stools so that more of my students can use them at the same time because the two in my classroom right now are not enough to meet the needs of all twelve of my students! This will allow my students to focus more on their work instead of on whose turn it is for a stool. Thank you!
