Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in second grade often need to engage and move their bodies to keep their attention focused on learning. When students can engage their core muscles, they increase blood flow in their body, they increase their energy and ability to concentrate on learning. The increased energy is in the increased flow of blood and oxygen to the brain allowing for improved brain power!

With wobble stools and wobble cushions, students can sit on a chair that allows the kind of movement their body and brain need without falling over or sitting unsafely in their traditional chairs.

These four wobble stools will be available to students as needed throughout the day for use. While we have flexible seating for the carpet, wobble stools and cushions allow for flexible seating while learning or working at desks as well.
