My Students

My students have very inquiring minds and show an interest in what is happening in the world around them. As a class, we enjoy discussing and interacting on projects revolving around the subjects of math, language arts and science.

Since a number of the students are very active it would be especially helpful to have some wobble cushions in the classroom for selected students to use.

These cushions will help the students focus and give their active bodies a little boost to help control their energy. These cushions will aid student concentration for the types of activities that will help students be a part of the world and help them see a vision of the future. A future where they are active in a rewarding STEM-related occupation.

My Project

Many times the energy levels of students can pose a problem with their concentration levels. It is amazing when one little technique or tool can be applied to help focus the attention and energy of students towards the lesson. Wobble Cushions are an example where a tool can be used to calm or sooth the hyper student so that they can focus on the lesson and not be disruptive. The Wobble Cushion is just enough of an addition to their environment or setting so they can become a little more settled and a little more receptive to listening and concentration.
