Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing individuals that need hands-on opportunities to feel successful! I teach mostly English language learners at a Title I school, and our current curriculum is too difficult to tackle at this part of the school year.

Help me differentiate their intervention to meet their needs and create lifelong learners!

My students come to school each day excited to learn, but unfortunately that excitement dwindles away when confronted with the harsh reality that they need a lot of remedial support. More of the same is not what they need - innovative intervention is needed to make them succeed in school. Together, we can make their academic success a reality!

My Project

It's hard keeping still in class and these wobble chairs will help my students keep their focus! I have a class of diverse learner who have focusing issues and get distracted easily. Some students also fidget a lot and can't seem to sit still. Having these four wobble chairs will help students cope with the wiggles and help them focus on the lesson. I have seen first hand, in other classrooms, how these wobble chairs help students focus more and fidget less.

These Wobble Chairs are a great flexible seating option!

Flexible seating is something I truly believe in because it gets students excited about attending school. The addition of these wobble chairs to my classroom will offer a larger range of flexible seating in my classroom. These seats will also offer a safer alternative to the way my fidgeting students tend to tip their current seats.
