My Students

My students are sweet, kind, and active!

When they come into my classroom every morning, I make sure to smile brightly at them and ask them about their morning.

I want them to see and know that I care DEEPLY about them and that I am here for them. I believe showing concern gives them room to trust me and that is important to me.

They feed off my kindness and I see them exhibit it to others--for the most part.

I love what I do!

My Project

It is the end of the first week of school and I am excited to teach my new group of kids!

They are smiley, inquisitive, and seem ready to learn; however, sometimes my kids are VERY busy when all I need them to do is sit down and listen to my lessons, instructions, or etc....

I am asking for three Wobble Chairs to place at my computers and to use in my time out area.

I believe alternative seating works for hyperactive children because I have seen how it affects the mood of my fellow teacher's students and I believe it will have a similar effect within MY classroom--especially with those type of children!

It is my hope that having this seating will calm my busy children down enough to complete their work, stations, and testing.
