While using a wobble stool may look like a fun movement break, it is actually providing a seating option that allows a student’s body to move without getting up and distracting others. By allowing the student to move freely while seated, the stool allows for their need for sensory input and physical activity without disrupting their workflow.
Recess and time for play is an essential part of the school day.
This break allows students to develop social emotional skills, improve memory and reduce disruptive behaviors.
