My Students

Loving, caring, passionate about learning...these are just a few words that describe my amazing fourth graders. These children have a passion for life and a love for the world they live in. They are always first to lend a hand or encourage a classmate.

At school, our class is like a family, and throughout the year, we get the chance to learn and grow from one another.

Many of my students come in each year far below grade level in reading and math. As their teacher, I want to make sure they have access to the best resources possible that can help them achieve their goals and feel like empowered learners.

My Project

The benefits of wobble chairs are limitless in the classroom!! As we return from Covid and a year of virtual learning, I want my students to feel at home and comfortable in our classroom. Wobble stools are not only fun, but also great for student health and learning.

Wobble chairs promote good posture, provide ways to fidget and move-increasing blood flow to the brain, and improve sensory focus and awareness during learning and test taking.

We currently use these stools at our guided reading table and my students LOVE them. It would be amazing to include more of these stools as seating options especially for students who can use them as a tool to improve learning and focus. These stools would allow me to accommodate the needs of my students and help them be more successful.
