This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The wobble chairs I am requesting will help my students to better access learning in our classroom. Wobble chairs have been recognized to be beneficial for posture, leading to better blood flow and oxygen to the brain. Learning in a standard, stationary chair limits a student's activity to move around and expend excess energy. Allowing movement in a wobble chair can increase focus.

The wobble chairs I have chosen can be used to help support students in small groups to stay focused.

The wobble chairs are lightweight and can be easily moved throughout the room to complete different tasks. The number of chairs align with the number of students I work with during my small-group setting so no child is without a wobble chair in our groups. I am eager to give my students a better chance to learn in a setting that makes them comfortable and regulated.
