Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kids don't read. They struggle as readers, but the heart of the problem is that we don't have a proper library and the kids have no interest in reading. We're a small charter school in South LA based in a repurposed industrial building with only limited access to books.

Harry Potter is what started my lifelong love of reading; I want to share that love with my students.

We're currently listening to the audiobook as a class but we're reading it off a pdf on chrome books. It's not ideal. Let me give my kids a passion for reading! Thank you!
