This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love to move and play. With new equipment, they will love it even more! These materials will help them tremendously so they don't have to use outdated and torn pieces of equipment.

One learning outcome that students will be able to accomplish while using this equipment with each other is:

Dribbles and travels in general space at slow to moderate jogging speed, with control of ball and body. (S1.E17.3)

Some units that will benefit from the updated equipment are basketball, football, soccer, and non-traditional sports and activities. My students will be able to have their own equipment without having to share it with a classmate. We will be using the equipment to further our individual and partner and team skills in physical education.
