My Students

Being a teacher in Camden, NJ, I am privileged to teach such enthusiastic, caring, well-rounded children who are open to the world of possibility and learning. Every day, my students enter my classroom with smiles on their faces, a sense of relaxation, and an urgency to dive into learning new and exciting things!

Hands-on learning not only aids in meeting the needs of my diverse students, but teaches responsibility, organization, and how to have fun while learning.

Centers are a daily part of our classroom routine that allow my students to learn at their own pace, while exploring new topics and skills in exciting, creative ways! Seat sacks will provide quick access to our supplies and materials needed throughout the day.

Keeping track of students' work sometimes becomes flustering and overwhelming. With file folders that are neatly labeled and organized, I will be able to quickly retrieve any student's work at any given time.

My students rely on a timer to know when a center is beginning and ending. With a magnetic timer big enough for all to see, students will be able to refer to the timer throughout centers, and have access to starting and stopping the timer independently.

My Project

Having materials easily accessible to my students is my goal. Seat sacks will allow my students to simply reach back and grab any materials we need in less than 5 seconds, rather than having them go back and forth to their cubbies, which tends to take more time away from learning.
