With One Promethean Board, We Can... Read, Write, and Share!
Help me give my students the best possible education with this Promethean board, which will open endless possibilities in the world of reading, writing, and math, with interactive games, lessons, and much more.
The use of a Promethean board in the classroom will provide numerous advantages to my students. It will promote collaboration. Students can participate through hands-on annotations and learning activities, and multiple devices can connect to the board to share screens. Better engagement for my students. I can use interactive activities to enhance instruction and provide real-time feedback on student progress.
Students can be intellectually curious and actively engaged for more creativity.
Lesson variation is what I am most excited about. I can use a range of media to cater to different learning styles, such as videos, PowerPoints, songs, and other audio.
Here are some ways I plan on using the Promethean board.
Brainstorming
Use the pens to record ideas and lists, which can then be saved or printed
Drawing
Students or I can draw or write on the board using a pen or finger
Games
Promethean's ActivPanel includes free teaching software with templates for games like matching, flash cards, crosswords, and memory. You can also use the spinner to call on students to answer questions or present their work, or use the timer to add excitement by having students race to solve a problem. For example, you could create a racetrack game board where students answer questions to move around and progress.
Activities
Promethean's ActivInspire software has 10 different activity types that can help students practice skills and concepts.
