This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the heart of our vibrant urban community, my 5th-grade students bring bold ideas, unstoppable energy, and endless potential to the classroom every day. These incredible kids are determined to succeed, but they often face challenges that make learning harder than it should be. Despite limited resources, they continue to show up with big dreams and bright smiles. They are thinkers, creators, and leaders in the making — all they need is the right tools to unlock their full potential.

One of the most powerful tools I can provide is a class set of engaging books that reflect my students' interests, backgrounds, and experiences.

With these books, my students will see themselves as heroes in stories that inspire them to read more, think critically, and connect with literature in meaningful ways. Your support will provide these much-needed books, sparking a love for reading that can change their future. Every contribution is a step toward a brighter tomorrow — and with your help, these remarkable young minds can achieve extraordinary things.
