With Great Knowledge Comes Great Responsibility

Help me give my students reading materials and coping skills to help with their big emotions, as well as materials to help broaden their understanding in math and literacy.

My Project

Help my students build knowledge and brain power by giving them access to materials to broaden their understanding of the world around them and the emotions within them.

Students get frustrated easily, which sometimes leads to big emotions and big outbursts.

With the help of some new reading buddies, an anxiety stress relief ball, and even some reading materials on emotions; students gain a better understanding of dealing with their feelings and having a calming space to relax when stressed.

In math, we can use magnetic money, scale, and other tools to help broaden our understanding of a confusing topic to small children - time and money.

In reading, students can expand their vocabulary by reading books that interest them and challenge them at the same time, as well as practice reading to a reading buddy.

Art is super close to my heart and with the use of clay and tools, students can tap into their artistic side as another way to relive some big emotions.
