This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of the main benefits of having properly furnished lounge spaces in a classroom is that they provide students with a much-needed break from the academic rigors of the classroom. Students can relax, recharge, and socialize with their peers in a comfortable and informal setting. My students are 9th graders and as they take on their new journey in high school, I would like to make the classroom inviting and comfortable. The soft seatings will help foster a safe comfortable place for the students to enjoy in the classroom!
