Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am starting a brand-new self-contained program. The students are hardworking, kind, and eager to learn in their new classroom. My students have faced many challenges the past few years. For some, this will be the first time in a self-contained classroom away from their same-aged peers. I plan to give them the independence they need to be able to take change of their education by using iPads.

They will have an immersive experience of their classroom and community through technology.

All of their current technology is outdated. They had 4-year-old kindles before. With the iPads they will be able to access all kinds of learning online. They can research their own careers, take notes, access apps like BrainPop, News2You, Zearn, and they can keep track of their online assessments and goal monitoring. The case with the keyboard will make it easy to protect the iPads from damage.
