Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are determined to succeed at any task presented to them. They love to help out in the classroom. They are learning how to advocate for themselves. My students sometimes feel their teachers aren't thinking about them and their futures. Showing acts of kindness and consideration let my students know I'm thinking about them. We work on building a sense of community in our classroom.

My Project

I'm out of masks and wipes again. Students at our school receive a disposable mask on their way into school. Disposable masks easily break, get thrown away at lunch, or just need to get replaced throughout the school day. If I can replace the broken mask in the classroom, then the student doesn't miss instruction to go pick up another in the office.

My students are cleaning tables and disinfecting the pencil sharpeners.

We need more disinfecting wipes and nitrile gloves. Our school supplies us with scratchy brown paper towels. Students like the white paper towels for water bottle spills. Students value soft facial tissues for their noses. Your support in my project is greatly appreciated.
