My Project

Our school hosts an annual holiday store in December. Students get to "purchase" a gift for themselves or family members with points they earn for meeting their goals. Staff members work with students to identify goals early in the year. We have scheduled monthly progress checks to help students monitor their goals.

Our students take great pride in achieving their personal goals.

Setting goals, monitoring the progress, and feeling the remarkable sense of success are all crucial life skills for our students. Often, students feel successful and that leads to a greater effort in other areas as well. Students start to believe in their ability to do difficult things. Setting goals has been one of the most effective tactics we've tried since the pandemic.

The requested basketballs, footballs, volleyballs, wiffle balls, and soccer balls will be available for students to select in our holiday store. Any type of athletic equipment is always popular with our students. With your help, we can give students a holiday gift and a sense of accomplishment.
