My students come from all over the world, Guatemala, Mexico, Egypt, Africa are to name just a few. My students are from poverty-stricken areas around the world. They come to our country with very little and do not have the basic necessities at home. I have many times looked to find things my children need such as uniforms, jackets, shoes, socks, backpacks, bedding, and even first aid supplies. This year I am overwhelmed with the number of students that I teach that it has become increasingly difficult to provide for them.
I am asking for any donations that could provide my students with things they may need this fall/winter.
I have noticed many of my students are growing out of their uniforms, do not have jackets, socks, and shoes. The donations would provide these types of things for these precious children.
My Project
My students are in need of warm winter clothes and jackets for the upcoming winter season. Many of my students come from poverty and do not have clothing to keep them warm during the cold winter months. All of my students are bus riders and have to stand in the cold or rain early in the morning to get to school.
I want to make sure they have what they need to in order to function as well as be warm when they are outside during recess, field trips, on the bus, at home, etc.
