My Project

This project is designed to provide this autistic support classroom the tools they need to thrive the rest of this school year.

Many of the students in the class have limited ability to communicate verbally.

This project includes resources that will help them communicate using visuals. Students will be able to create a visual schedule so they know what they should be doing now and what comes next. There is also a reward token board that helps them stay on track to complete a task.

The winter refresh also includes some tools for hands on learning. There is a hand mixer and cupcake maker for domestic maintenance lessons. As well as glue sticks and laminating sheets for creating learning folders. There are yoga mats for students to use during movement breaks.

This project also contains many classroom basics to keep the classroom clean and well stocked. There are disinfecting wipes and technology wipes for keeping our space clean and a mini vacuum for cleaning our classroom rug. Your donation will help students in a high poverty Philadelphia school have a clean and well stocked learning environment.
