Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The majority of my classroom comes to school under dressed during the winter months. Over the years, I have collected various winter gear from people giving it away or things my own children has out grown. However, many of our hats and clothes are warn and tattered.

When my students go out for recess they know they can pick items from our shared winter essentials bag to ensure that they are warm outside and have fun outside.

With so many items looking old or growing old, I want to replace the items in the bag to ensure that each of my students has something to wear should they need it. No one should have to endure recess feeling cold or uncomfortable. This also applies to field trips we take during the winter or late fall months.

Thank you for donating to my students and ensuring that they are dressed properly in the cold winter months.
