Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is to help me give my students warm winter gloves, scarves, hats, and socks. Many of my students' families aren't able to give their children winter accessories or if they do then they want it kept at home so it doesn't get lost at school. I'd like for each of my students to have a set that they can keep at school to use when we go outside for recess. Our school has a focus on outdoor learning and so each week we have Wilderness Wednesday's in which students participate with different community workers on an outdoor lesson. We also have Outdoor Education as one of our specials classes. Therefore I want my students to have the items to stay warm so they can enjoy our time outside!
