My Students

My students are a great group of students who are filled with a lot of energy. My students are a mixture of Brooklyn natives and recent immigrants to the country. They work super hard and are eager and excited to learn. While my students come from diverse backgrounds there are many commonalities that bring them together.

My Project

The health and wellness of my students goes hand and hand with their education. You truly can't have one without the other. The wellness of my students is a number one priority in my classroom. Simple items such as warm coats truly help me support their well being.

The New York winter is about to begin and my students need warm winter coats to stay healthy all winter long.

This year I have had an unusually high number of requests from my students for warm coats. This requests tells me that my students and their families are struggling. My hope is to provide them with warm winter gear to provide some much needed relief and warmth!
