Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very special because they are very grateful for the opportunity to be in school and receiving music instruction. They never pass up the opportunity to put an instrument in their hands and could talk about instruments for hours. For many of them, this is their first experience utilizing instruments for they have only seen them and never touched one.

Being able to play Maracas, Tambourines, and Bells during our Winter show will give my students the opportunity to experience music in a way they never have before.

This will positively impact their social, emotional, and cognitive learning, as well as make their dreams come true.
