My Project

Encouraging my students to ENJOY reading while learning is my goal with this project! Two years ago, our school received copies of "Wings of Ebony" by J Elle, . At the end of the 2022-2023 school year, I have given out the last of the books we received as we closed out the semester reading the book.

My desire is to use "Wings of Ebony" with my 2023-2024 English III class because the previous students LOVED the book so much especially when they saw that our school, Jack Yates High School was actually in the BOOK.

The book has a complete interactive lesson plan and the printer will be used to print the students various activities in color as we do not have access to a color printer in the classroom. I am asking for a class set to get us started. My desire is for every student to receive a personal copy as in previous years. I am grateful to all who are blessing my 2023-2024 students, thank you!
