Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students who are able to participate in hands-on experiments will find fun and interest in science. This project will give my students their own kite to keep and help them begin to understand wind and weather as well as concepts like lift. They will also learn that science is fun! My students learn about the weather as a part of our science unit connected with energy. This project will let kids have the opportunity to see weather in action.

Kids don't learn new concepts as well if they just see pictures or read it in a text.

They need to be fully immersed in their lessons and use the information in real life to fully understand.
