My Project

I know my students will be excited to get some new books, games and manipulatives. A majority of my students come from low income families. They frequently move and have limited access to toys, games and books at home. They are also not exposed to the same learning environment as their peers. This disadvantage is the reason many of my students need additional support to prepare them for Kindergarten.

Preparing my students for Kindergarten is critical to their success in school.

Having a good foundation of the basics, before they go to Elementary School, will help make their learning experience more productive. Obtaining the correct learning tools will help me motivate my students to participate and stay focused. The variety of resources will also allow me to tailor my lesson plans to the needs of each individual student. These new items should help my students excel in PreK and give them the head start in Kindergarten they need.
