Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Helping the students put on a play is an incredibly rewarding experience. It allows them to express their creativity, build confidence, and work collaboratively. We intend to create a safe space for the students to express themselves, and learn from one another. This will foster problem-solving abilities.

Each one of the supplies we request will not only enhance their performance but also provide students with a valuable learning experiences.

The fog machine, bubble machine, costumes and props will help students understand the importance of visual storytelling, and the aspects of theater production.

Costumes are essential for transforming students into their characters. They will help the students fully immerse themselves in their roles, making the performance more believable and engaging for the audience. Props and set pieces create the world of the play. A well-designed set can transform a simple stage into a world of imagination! The rolling carts will help students move the props and costumes.

My students are incredibly diverse, each bringing their unique talents and perspectives to the table. They are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and always willing to support each other. Their creativity knows no bounds, and they constantly surprise me with their innovative ideas and dedication to their craft.

Your donation of these supplies and costumes are more than just tools for a play; they are instruments of learning and growth. They will help my students bring their characters to life, captivate the audience's imagination, and gain skills that will benefit them far beyond the stage.
