My Students

Intuitive. Hardworking. Caring. Intelligent. These are just a few words that can describe the heroes I teach. I call them heroes because they saved my life. I had reached a point of being over education until I met my students in the College Readiness Center. These middle school students are both determined and eager to learn. They have allowed me to reignite my passion for education. BUT PLEASE REMEMBER they are children and for some reason they can NOT remember to bring in a pencil or paper. LIGHT BULB. How about we make STUDENT SUPPLY CENTERS. Here is where you can help us WILDER WOLVERINES. We will need pencils, highlighters, colored pencils, index cards, notebook paper, graph paper, 1 Subject Notebooks. Students will be able to just walk by grab the item and head to class. I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW you're thinking "all that stuff will be gone in 1 week." To that I say, "O WELL" it is there to be used. If we get it once, we can get it twice. LET'S BUILD THE FUTURE TOGETHER.

My Project

Students will have materials for class. If they forget a teacher can just point them down the hallway to grab more. An honor system can be developed around the center to teach children character and honesty. Students can replenish materials in the WHC for extra credit with teachers. Students can return supplies. Also, they can give back to other schools by donating a HUB CENTER to them.

Each hub will be directly beside the administration office for monitoring.

Students will only be allowed to visit during transition.
