Wild for Animal Books

Help me give my students books to read about and research different animals. My students love the National Geographic series.

My Project

In my classroom, we independently read every day. When my students are selecting their independent reading books, they always request to choose from the animal basket. Throughout this year, their reading levels and stamina have grown. They genuinely enjoy their reading time, especially when they are reading about the animals that they love. Our upcoming writing unit is an animal research project.

Your donation will help put these amazing books into the hands of each student.

With this donation, we will be able to add to our existing library. It will also allow for each student to research an animal they are interested in and keep a book for the duration of the unit instead of having to share our resources between many students.
