Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our kindergarten students are bursting with excitement as we prepare for our upcoming trip to the zoo in May! To make this experience even more magical and educational, we’re requesting animal headbands for every child in the grade. These fun and engaging headbands will help our little learners immerse themselves in the world of animals as they explore the zoo and learn through play.

What makes this even more special is that our next reading and writing units focus on animals.

From learning about animal habitats to writing informational pieces, these headbands will support cross-curricular connections that bring learning to life. Not only will they help with student engagement and focus, but they’ll also encourage imagination and build confidence as students "become" the animals they’re learning about.

Our kindergarteners are curious, kind, and full of wonder. With your help, they’ll enjoy a memorable zoo trip while deepening their understanding of animals in a way that’s fun and meaningful. Thank you for supporting our young explorers!
