My Project

Have you ever used Wikki Stix before? They are a bendable wax covered sticks that are colorful, fun and easy to manipulate. They stick to paper without glue. They are easy to cut with scissors. And they are reusable!

The only limit to what Wikki Stix can create is the imagination of the artist.

I have lessons planned that incorporate this medium. For example, one lesson involves creating a self-portrait using a single continuous line. Students will first draw their face with one line, then use Wikki Stix to trace over their drawing, adding dimension and texture.
