Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are special, they live in the south Bronx in the poorest neighborhood, yet they walk in with heads high in uniforms ready to start the day. Here at my school we try and allow are students to feel right at home.

This year I have many students who have a tough time with maintaining independent focus.

I would like to create an environment which will help them to focus them and foster independence. By creating a safe productive work environment, every student will be successful.

My Project

These wiggle chairs will allow my students to wiggle into our tight classroom. By moving away from standard chairs, these seats will allow my students and small groups to be able to self regulate, and focus more.

These wiggle seats will be used at the guided table to ensure that 6 students can comfortably and happily join me for practice in all subject areas.

By purchasing these I can assure that my students will be excited to join me to work in small groups. My students are Title I and they need all the motivation they can get to want to learn, I hope by having these they want to join me more often.
