My Students

I love my students and my community! I have amazing students who are driven and always strive to succeed. These students exhibit a wide range of academic skills that demand a variety of ways to enhance their learning.

As a teacher, I try to provide engaging, rigorous, and differentiated activities every day.

These children are growing up in a fast-paced world and I want them to be prepared to keep up with these demands and acquire 21st century learning skills.

My Project

It is hard for kindergartners to sit still! They want and NEED to move! Wobble chairs allow for that movement. Students are able to rock back and forth, allowing them to get out that extra energy, and improving their attention and focus.

Instead of fighting against their constant need to wiggle, wobble chairs allow them to move freely.

I have purchased 2 of these wobble chairs myself, but need help to purchase 4 more! These chairs will be used in one of our learning centers...the students rotate through these centers daily which means every student in the class will get to use a wobble chair each day. I know they will be thrilled to use these chairs in class!
