My Students

"Do we get to do that?!" is often a phrase heard in 1B. The students in my classroom, everyday, are eager to learn and try new things. Outside of school they do not typically have many opportunities, as I work at a Title I school in which many students are a part of the free and reduced lunch program. My school district is in a small community, in east Texas, and our students do not always have easy access to experiences and opportunities like schools in a bigger city would.

My Project

My students need seating to move around the room for their station groups. I love for my students to move around and get on the floor and seat at different table to do their station work. This helps my students be able to move around and still do their learning tub which helps them learn the material better.

The tubs make it very easy to set around the room and fill with different station materials for whatever skill they are working on.

The wipe and erase screens allow me to let students do all different papers without having to use a paper and pencil. Students LOVE to use a colored expo and then erase it all after checking each others work.
