This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Last year, I was successful in receiving some flexible seating balance balls and stools. The problem was that there were just too many students in my classroom who needed to have movement to learn. We implemented a sign-up sheet to help alleviate the problem and so there was a wait. Who wants to wait a day or two or three or more when you need help NOW?

With a class of 25 or more students, I want to have enough wobble chairs and yoga balls on hand so that every student can have what they need to learn.

There will be no more signing up and waiting a week for me to call your name and hope you are absent on the day it’s your turn.
