My Students

I teach at a public charter schools. Our students come from diverse backgrounds with all different needs. More than 75% of our students come from low socio-economic backgrounds and are on free or reduced lunch. Despite their obstacles my students are full of energy and curiosity.

Kindergarten can be scary, offering students a choice of seating where they be comfortable and learn the easiest will ease this transition.

My littles come to school for the first time eager to learn. Providing flexible seating allows them their choice where they are comfortable and allows them to better focus on their work.

My Project

Providing flexible seating to Kindergartners is about providing seating options to energetic learners that help them focus and learn best. In my class specifically I have many students with special needs where movement allows for better concentration.

Offering wobble chairs and bouncy seats will allow flexible seating where my students can wiggle, focus and learn.

I want to create a classroom where students are excited to come to school and they are eager to learn. When a child has a choice in choosing a carpet mat, a bouncy chair or wobble chair they are picking the seat that helps them learn best. Your donation will help my children have an environment that works best for each student.
