My Project

Our school is an academically successful, rural high school that is filled to the brim with about 1100 wonderful students. We serve our military community as well, pulling in students whose parents work on military bases. In the state's ranking system, our high-performing high school has been ranked as one of the top ten public high schools in our state for many consecutive years. We have also won accolades in athletics and the arts programs.

We are proud of our success in the classroom and outside of it as well.

This STEM project is requesting a dozen sets of wiffle balls and bats. Wait, what? PE equipment in Science? Well, yes! These safe balls and bats will allow the students to better understand the laws of motion in a high school class. The kids will enjoy and learn from this activity as it illustrates the relationship between a physical object and the forces acting upon it.

I have included two cases of individually wrapped cookies as a reward for my students. Thank you for considering this project.
