My Project

My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. I recently attended a workshop on Surface-Deep-Transfer learning. Analyzing and comparing books from different perspectives is a strategy that kids can use to show transfer of learning. Students in my classroom like to read about fairytales and villains. I would like to have books that will hold their interests and keep them reading in my classroom. These books will help me when planning great lessons on perspective and point of view. Some of the lessons will be comparing and contrasting the point of view of a story, comparing themes across books, and summarizing.
