My Project

A classroom rug will provide the students an area for whole group learning daily. This will be a place where students will meet throughout the day while learning math, language arts, social studies, science, art, and social skills. While learning on the carpet the students will collaborate with one another and develop social skills.

Having a classroom rug will create a safe space for students to come together and build relationships, learn, and create a sense of community with the students as a whole.

Whole Child learning is necessary in today's world. To be able to create that environment for my students will be amazing.
