Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We asking for shorts for our soccer team. Our young soccer Lions are playing against other schools in the Bronx. This is our first year our school has a soccer team and we want to give our kids the FULL EXPERIENCE! They already play as a team and they deserve to look like a team.

Our school is in a low income area and the students can not afford to purchase soccer equipment or uniforms.

These kids work hard practicing every Saturday for roughly 2 hours. Then on game days we walk to the another school that has a regulated soccer field that is about 20 minutes away from our own school in order to participate in the games. These kids are really putting in plenty of hardwork. We will be grateful for any support that we may get, if it's a donation or sharing our project. We all thank you in advance. PEACE, LOVE and
