Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am requesting feminine products, underwear, and changes of pants to keep in the nurse's office for students to have in case of an emergency. These items will help the students remain in school and not need to go home for a change of clothing.

Most middle school girls do not keep up with their menstrual cycle date.

Thus resulting in unexpected accidents. These items would also help so that the parents will not need to leave work for student pick-up. Every lady wants to feel fresh and clean. Knowing that these items are available, students will be less embarrassed to ask for help. Sometimes this embarrassment leads to students continuing the day in soiled clothing. Everyone should have the chance to be fresh. Besides who wants a period anyway??
