My Project

We have now successfully started a school grocery store with some basics, but are looking to add a little bit of variety to the selections. We have selected a variety of canned vegetables to go along with some more sweet and savory options. The students have been super excited to have some choice in selecting what they are bringing home for themselves and their families each weekend. Soon, we will also be getting a refrigerator which could enable us to preplan meals for the students and families before sending any items home.

We are certainly trying to instill healthy choices with food to the extent we can influence them from the school level!
