Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A shared computer in our classroom will make a significant difference in my students’ learning by giving them access to digital tools and personalized resources. Many of my students benefit from interactive software, visual aids, and assistive technologies that reinforce concepts and build essential skills. A computer will also allow them to practice typing, conduct research, and create digital projects, helping them develop critical 21st-century skills. This resource will enhance their learning experience, making lessons more engaging and effective, while ensuring all students have equitable access to technology.

The goals of this project are to support individualized learning, promote digital literacy, and foster greater engagement in the classroom.

By providing tools tailored to their unique needs, especially for students with learning differences, I can help each student thrive academically. Incorporating technology into lessons will make learning more interactive and motivate students to take an active role in their education.

What makes my students special is their resilience, determination, and eagerness to learn despite the challenges they face. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique strengths to the classroom. Many of them thrive when given access to tools that cater to their individual learning needs. Your support for this project will empower them to overcome barriers, explore their potential, and build skills for a brighter future.
