This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During instruction, in our 12:1:1 classroom, we break up into groups daily to provide small group instruction. This instruction is to assist special education students with strategic lessons to decrease academic delays. During small group instruction, we no longer have our small group whiteboard display as it fell apart, leaving us with no replacement. Having these white boards will allow our specially designed instructional groups to carry on with instruction and ensure we all have the same resources.

Students are motivated to work on the whiteboard to show their thinking and display their work.

When students’ participation increases, so does their academic progress. They have fun working on whiteboards using colorful dry erase markers. The more they work, the more they learn. With your help, you can make a direct impact in increasing their motivation and improve their academic achievement.
